As I was contemplating an update to our little family blog, I had an idea. With the blessing of the camera phone, ordinary moments throughout the day can be captured and treasured. I know I'm not the only mom with hundreds of pictures of these "ordinary" moments archived in my phone. The amazing thing is, that these "ordinary" snapshots are really the moments that make up our lives. Our lives are made of years, which are made of weeks, which are made of days, which are made of hours, which are made of minutes, which are made of moments. What we do in these moments add up and equal our life! Our family strives to be thankful to the Lord for each of these moments, as we know they are a gift from Him. Claudia has blossomed into a nearly three year old, with a dynamic personality and sweet, fun spirit! Virginia is nine months old now and exudes joy! She is constantly learning and adores her big sister!
At the end of each day, I show Austin snapshots and videos of the girls so he can feel a part of daily activities at home while he is at work. This idea is a combination of that habit as well as a desire for me to truly see how I spend each day, especially with the girls, so that I may continue to strive for excellence. Also, I thought it was a fun way to record just one "normal" day in our lives to look back upon and smile. The purpose of me sharing this with you is to be able to peek into our life for a day, and to, hopefully, see the beauty of it and to encourage you to see the beauty in the moments that make up your own life, no matter what season of life you are in!
